WHO IS TUKS MISSIONS COMMITTEE?
Tuks Missions Committee (TMC) is a dynamic group of students from the University of Pretoria in the Republic of South Africa, who are committed to contribute to the expansion of God's kingdom over the borders of the whole world in the Name of Jesus Christ. TMC is an interdenominational organization.

We aim to make students aware of missions and to mobilise Christian students to get involved in missions. We then facilitate the students to the appropriate organizations who will be able to assist them to get involved in missions on the Tuks campus, in South Africa and to the ends of the earth.

Students are encouraged to be involved in one or more of the following aspects:

We are therefore a link between students, who want to get involved, and you, the organi-zation, who can provide them with the necessary information and assistance.

Tuks had more than 32,000 full time students in 2003. If this is taken in consideration, one realizes that a great impact can be made on the world! According to campus statistics, a great amount of the students are Christians. These students are the leaders of tomorrow and can go practically anywhere in the world with the skills they achieve. This is an opportunity that cannot be missed.

TUKS MISSIONS WEEK 2004 AND OTHER ACTIVITIES OF TMC
We aim to achieve this by organizing events such as Tuks Missions Week, which annually takes place in July. During 2003 we also started a Missions Day, which in future will take place in March/April. This year Missions Day will take place on 29 April at the Elim Church in Hatfield, Pretoria .

Tuks Missions Week is an immensely blessed event and one of the biggest Christian activities on campus. We have experienced tremendous growth in attendance, which is most likely to continue. 2,000 students attended the evening programs during 2003.

Missions Week 2004 will take place from 18–24 July in a number of venues during the course of the week. The theme is based on
Haggai 2:6-7, namely “ I will shake the nations ”. The opening will take place at the Amphi Thea tre on the UP main campus. For the week program, we will move to the Universiteitsoord Church . If it were the LORD's will, the program will be presented by Willie Crew, founder of the World Mission Centre (WMC), and Floyd McClung, author of “The Father heart of God”. The two will speak on alternate evenings.

Opportunity to Exhibit at Missions Week
We would like to use this opportunity to invite you to exhibit at his week during the evening programs at the Universiteitsoord Church from 19-22 July.

We will be able to provide you with a table and a chair. If it is needed, please supply your own pin-up board and extension cords. We would appreciate it if you could organize your own accommodation, if needed. You can contact Nadi a or Lynette for assistance in this regard.

For more information on the exhibitions, contact Jana before 25 June 2004 . Please take note that there is only a limited amount of space available and it will be appointed on a first come first serve basis.

PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT
As mentioned earlier, our vision is to see the Kingdom of God expand. It is of our opinion that you and TMC can complement each other in this respect and see the students fulfilling the great commission given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ.

We would like to close a co-operation agreement with several mission's organizations. Through this, we aim to build lasting relationships with participating organizations.

It is with great joy that we approach you to be in such a relationship with Tuks Missions Committee.

What we will expect from you: We would appreciate it if you could advise us of any change to above-mentioned as soon as possible.

What TMC offer you: The “ Sparkplug/Vonkprop ”
We plan to publish a guide for students containing certain information we receive from you. We also plan to publish this information on our website. We will be very discreet in this regard, and only do it if you give us permission beforehand (This is included in the form attached). We will bear the project at our own cost, but you are welcome to contribute financially towards this. Only organizations that are our partners, information will appear in the guide. Your organization is welcome to place an advertisement in the Sparkplug. If you are interested in advertising, contact Leandra for more information.

We want to reiterate that we only want to engage in a co-operation agreement if you fully buy into this!

We urge that you spend time in prayer before you make this decision.

Attached to this letter is a form, which you could complete if you would like to close this co-operation agreement with us. Please return the form before 1 April 2004 . If you will not be able to meet this cut-off date, contact Chrisjan to make an alternative arrangement.
